無料IELTS練習テスト

An IELTS practice test is a single-skill, timed exercise that reproduces one paper of the IELTS exam so you can rehearse question types and pacing without sitting a full mock. The IELTS Bro's practice library covers Listening, Reading and Writing for both IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training, marked instantly and converted to a band score.

How to use practice tests effectively

Practice tests build accuracy on individual question types. Use them between full mock tests, not instead of them.

  1. Pick the paper you score lowest on rather than the one you enjoy most.
  2. Run the test under the real time limit — 30 minutes for Listening, 60 for Reading, 60 for Writing.
  3. Mark it immediately and read the explanation for every question you missed, not only the ones you guessed.
  4. Log the question type behind each error; most candidates lose marks to two or three recurring types.
  5. Repeat the same question type until accuracy is above 80%, then move to a full mock test.

Question types covered

Listening: multiple choice, matching, plan and map labelling, form and note completion, sentence completion and short answer.

Reading: true/false/not given, yes/no/not given, matching headings, matching information, matching features, sentence completion, summary completion, diagram labelling and multiple choice.

Writing: Academic Task 1 charts, tables, processes and maps; General Training Task 1 formal, semi-formal and informal letters; Task 2 opinion, discussion, problem–solution, advantage–disadvantage and two-part questions.

Frequently asked questions

How many IELTS practice tests should I do before the exam?

Most candidates need 15 to 25 single-skill practice tests plus 3 to 5 full mock tests. Volume matters less than reviewing every error and identifying the recurring question types that cost you marks.

Are these IELTS practice tests free?

Yes, the practice library is free to use. You need an account so your scores and error history are saved between sessions.

Do practice tests give a band score?

Yes. Listening and Reading raw scores are converted to the 0–9 band scale. Writing receives a band estimate against Task Achievement, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy.

Is the Reading practice Academic or General Training?

Both. Each test is labelled with its variant, so you can filter to the one you are actually sitting.
