You should say:
You have one minute to prepare and may make notes. Then speak for one to two minutes; the examiner may ask one or two short follow-up questions.
One law I believe is beneficial is the law against smoking in public places. This law protects non-smokers from secondhand smoke and promotes a healthier environment. It affects everyone, especially children and those with respiratory issues. I think it’s a good law because it encourages healthier choices and improves public health overall.
