You should say:
You have one minute to prepare and may make notes. Then speak for one to two minutes; the examiner may ask one or two short follow-up questions.
I once took a journey to the mountains with my friends. We planned to hike for the weekend, but unfortunately, we got lost on the way. We were driving and missed a crucial turn. I would have paid more attention to the map and planned our route better. Despite the hiccup, we eventually found our way and had a great time exploring.
