You should say:
You have one minute to prepare and may make notes. Then speak for one to two minutes; the examiner may ask one or two short follow-up questions.
I’d like to talk about my grandfather, who is 80 years old. He is a wise and gentle man with a great sense of humor. I admire him for his life experiences and the stories he shares. I enjoy spending time with him because he always has valuable lessons to teach and makes me laugh.
